Oh Dog! It’s Sunday, and that means it’s time for another visit with Dear DeDe! That’s me!
Here’s the scoop on this week’s exciting adventures!
First of all, yesterday was Jen’s birthday. I’m not allowed to tell you how old she is, because to do so may prove detrimental to my cookie allowance. So let’s just say she’s too old to be young and too young to be old. *winks*
Jen won a shopping spree to a local mall a couple of weeks ago. I know, cool huh? Thanks WPLN in Nashville! BOL!
Anyway, she waited until Friday to go shopping, to celebrate. She came home with clothing, and makeup, and a new comforter for our bed. But she did NOT come home with ANYTHING for us! THE NERVE!
She claims that this mall didn’t have any shops that sold stuff for us. A likely story! But she had a wonderful time and so I’m happy for her.
And next, an update on the feral kitty. He’s still out there. He eats good and eats alot. He makes a point to show up while we’re outside so Jen will see him and feed him. Jen give him canned food to keep him full so his body can fight off the infection. His eyes are clear and he’s getting around pretty good. But he is NOT gonna let Jen touch him, so no cleaning the wound or getting him to a doctor.
I guess the fact that he can avoid her is a good sign, right?
Anyway, keep those prayers coming for him.
And next time somebody wants to give Jen a prize, it had better include SOMETHING for me.

Happy Birthday Jen! A shopping spree is ALWAYS a nice present and by now I’m thinking all the animals in the house have decided that you not bringing home presents for THEM was only fair…since it WAS your birthday!! Thanks for the feral cat update…..it’s nice that he’s getting plenty of food and he knows he can count on you for that. We’ve had a few feral visitors here who wouldn’t let us get beyond the feeding stage…hopefully your guy gets well enough to carry on.
