Oh Dog! I am so excited! Jen wrote a guest blog post for Christmas Pie Crafts! Ya oughtta go check it out!
But she’s not the only one who’s been doing a little writing. I spent yesterday afternoon crafting some Haiku to share with you today.
Lurking in shadows,
Ninja Kitty carefully
plans his next attack.
I’d roll over for a taste,
or maybe just sit.
Best friends forever they are,
A dog and a cat.
Feel free to add your own Haiku below!

I couldn’t comment there. Congratulations though!

awwwww….. thanks to both of you!
It’s amazing how a little luck and a cell phone camera can catch some decent pics.
Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Gorgeous! 🙂
I love your comment on ninja kitty, but I couldn’t help thinking he was hardly lurking …. so bright orange! What a wonderful household, I love dropping by.
yeah well it’s hard to get a good shot when he actually lurks in the shadows…. I guess I could have said he was lurking on the comfy blanket.
Love these!! 🙂

Oh Dog, I love visiting your blog as I never know what to expect, but love every post! You guys crack me up! It makes my day!
Wonderful words and oh so adorable photos! Mr. Cheddar is now penning his own haiku poems over at Veggies…so I won’t even try to contribute or compete. 😉
Happy Weekend, G 🙂
Oh Dog! I can’t wait to see them!
Hi Rumpy,,,Hope you’re doing well. Hey,,,what the haik is hecku,,,oops, I mean what the heck is haiku ? Ahhh,,,never mind,,,the subject is obviously way over my head ! Keep on creating,,,it’s good for the mind.
Oh, so you’re just another funny face.. is that what you’re saying?
Very nice guest post (especially the part about fake pet lovers) and I love the haiku!!
Did ya notice that there are LOTS of commercials now with animals in them? Some of them are made by people who obviously have no clue about animals. I make it a point to NOT buy those products.
Well done and the pictures are so cute . We really don’t know what haiku is either but guess it is like poetry and yours are quite good. Loved the guest post. Have a super week end.
Very cute pictures–especially the last one!!
Jen had a great guest post!! Love the haikus too. Rumpy, the pic of you is awesome 🙂 Have a good weekend!
Thanks! But don’t say that too often… I don’t want it to go to her head.
A really great blog and great pics too. Thank you so much for being my guest blogger this week.
It was my pleasure! Oh wait, Jen should say that!
So so so cute… 😀
Thanks so much!!!
Great haiku 🙂 Does anyone else count the syllables, or is it just me?? lol
Jen does…. obsessively.
So say you and me! (How long can we keep this going? Indefinitely?)
I got a new toy.
I’m deathly afraid of it.
Please take it away!
Love and licks and fear of a battery operated barking dog,
OH Dog! Ya gotta show that toy who’s in charge Cupcake!

I never know what to say at times like these, but I do want you to know we care and we are keeping your family in our hearts.
We aren’t very good at all with the haiku thing, but we do love that pic of you waiting for a treat, Rumpy. Love the head tilt.

Nice haikus! We enjoyed them. Also, we liked reading Jen’s piece. We tried to leave a comment but there were technical difficulties. Please tell her we liked her work.

That is definitely a ninja kitty face
And it comes complete with Ninja Kitty sounds!
Very creative poetry Rumpy! I love the photos. The last one is wonderful. It reminds me so much of me and my little feline buddy, Barnaby.
Beautiful haiku poems
But you are so beautiful too
I love to be here always

Love ninja kitties that turn out to be big bundles of furry love: true “pussy cats”!
