Creativity at Work!

Oh Dog! I am so excited! Jen wrote a guest blog post for Christmas Pie Crafts! Ya oughtta go check it out!

But she’s not the only one who’s been doing a little writing. I spent yesterday afternoon crafting some Haiku to share with you today.

Lurking in shadows,

Ninja Kitty carefully

plans his next attack.

Crunchy, delicious!

I’d roll over for a taste,

or maybe just sit.

Best friends forever they are,

A dog and a cat.

Feel free to add your own Haiku below!

  1. Hi Rumpy! I enjoyed reading Jen’s guest blog post! That was great! and of course, your Haikus, and pics, too!!!

    Those cute eyes
    Staring at me
    Make me feel warm

    Have a great weekend! 🙂

  2. Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Gorgeous! 🙂

I love your comment on ninja kitty, but I couldn’t help thinking he was hardly lurking …. so bright orange! What a wonderful household, I love dropping by.

    1. yeah well it’s hard to get a good shot when he actually lurks in the shadows…. I guess I could have said he was lurking on the comfy blanket.

  3. Wonderful words and oh so adorable photos! Mr. Cheddar is now penning his own haiku poems over at Veggies…so I won’t even try to contribute or compete. 😉

    Happy Weekend, G 🙂

  4. Hi Rumpy,,,Hope you’re doing well. Hey,,,what the haik is hecku,,,oops, I mean what the heck is haiku ? Ahhh,,,never mind,,,the subject is obviously way over my head ! Keep on creating,,,it’s good for the mind.

    1. Did ya notice that there are LOTS of commercials now with animals in them? Some of them are made by people who obviously have no clue about animals. I make it a point to NOT buy those products.

  5. Well done and the pictures are so cute . We really don’t know what haiku is either but guess it is like poetry and yours are quite good. Loved the guest post. Have a super week end.

Thank you for being so kind in your comments concerning Trapper. He was very special to all of us and will be sorely missed. Extra hugs to you, rumpydog and the kitties!

  7. We aren’t very good at all with the haiku thing, but we do love that pic of you waiting for a treat, Rumpy. Love the head tilt.

  8. Rumpy,

Nice haikus! We enjoyed them. Also, we liked reading Jen’s piece. We tried to leave a comment but there were technical difficulties. Please tell her we liked her work.
