A Poem About DeDe

Oh Dog! This weekend I wrote a poem about DeDe to share with you today. I hope you like it! -Rumpy

DeDe is a happy dog

She loves to sniff and roam.

But when it’s time to go inside,

she darts inside our home.

The happiest dog in the world!

The happiest dog in the world!

She sniffs along the fence line,

it’s something she adores.

but if she sees Jen heading in,

she hurries to the door.

yep.. she's still happy!

yep.. she’s still happy!

She’s lived with Jen for several years

To tarry,  she’ll not try,

Because DeDe is still afraid

she will be left outside.

No, I'll wait until you go out with me!

No, I’ll wait until you go out with me!

About Jen and the Furries

Hello and welcome. I’m a 50 something woman who’s probably awake when she should be sleeping. Oh, and there are animals, because who doesn’t have pets?

  25. So sweet! I’m like you, DeDe. I don’t like to go out without Mom. I’m never allowed to anyway, because we have no fence. But before I go out for a walk, I always check through the window to see if I’m afraid of anything out there. If I see anything scary, I try to hide in the bedroom.
