You Love Me! You Really Love Me!

Oh Dog! I am so excited! The most popular referrers to my blog yesterday was StumbleUpon! That’s never happened before!

Did you stumble upon me?
Did you stumble upon me?

Bubba continues to show improvement, but he is still nervous around the other kitties when out. Jen is hoping that improves as he gains his strength.

The moving situation is still up in the air as we wait for the owner and property manager to decide on their terms for ending the lease. Jen would prefer to negotiate amicably, but their silence is deafening.  She has consulted some professionals recommended by a fellow blogger (THANK YOU!).

I made a bit of money lately and decided to spend it on blog promotion. What are the most cost-effective means of promotion that you’ve found?

To know me is to love me.... so get to know me!
To know me is to love me…. so get to know me!

Did you know you can follow me on Twitter @Rumpydog?  My Facebook page is RumpyDog. I also have a Facebook profile. I’d love to be your friend!

Did you know June Buggie is also on Twitter and Facebook? Follow him to see his daily plans for World Domination. *rolls eyes*

I’m also on Pinterest and Google+.

But enough of this shameless self-promotion! You’ve got voting to do! The World Spay Day Pet Pageant has 8 more days to go and I need your vote!

  1. “What are the most cost-effective means of promotion that you’ve found?”—–connecting with others…seriously……interacting….relentlessly leaving comments on the blogs of other people. Sharing their work more often than mine…and…being active in the BlogPaws community

    1. Sadly, I haven’t the time to engage in these activies, though I would prefer to. So until my situation improves, I must do the best I can with the resources I have. Hopefully it can provide some help.

  2. I love you all too 🙂 You are so lovely, Good Luck for everything and be sure I vote everyday, it is my first thing on my pc. I wish you to win. Kisses, hugs and love, nia

  3. I’ll be praying for you guys and Bob will be lifting you up to “Ceiling Cat.” Winston will be chasing bugs and eating. You know you can always post what’s going on on Bob’s page. Not as much coverage as you have but every little bit helps and you’re very welcome to do so.

  4. That really stinks with your landlord situation! I think I am following you pretty much everywhere. Have a great day and hope Bubba keeps getting better!

  5. Don’t spend a dime on promoting. Like several others have said read others blogs comment. Join blog paws community get some guest bloggers. There is a group on google + that are pet bloggers let me know if you’re interested and I will send an invite.

      1. Mornings & evenings. I work ten hour shifts four days a week. I read the posts during the day on my phone. I set up interviews on my days off and format blogs on my days off. I would suggest networking on Facebook. Share auction info, currys bulletin board for kin is a great place to start. There’s also several dog pages that are anti-bsl such as Morgan, Isis, Rita, reed.. all pitties. All of them are sweethearts and I will gladly share the pages on facebook.

  6. I am glad Bubba is improving. He could possibly be nervous around the others because he is not feeling well. I am wondering if one of the others “bullied” him. Maybe you should try some “kitty prozac” on him. Just a thought.

Moving or even thinking about it is stressful. I am sure things will work out in the end.

Last but not least, of course we love you. Isaiah and I love everyone down there. 🙂

  7. Oh I hope that moving thing gets worked out soon. So frustrating for you I know. MOM and I have never spent money on promotion. I prefer to save that for treat money.
    Blessings,
    Goose

  8. Rumpy, good lucks on the moving and Mr World Spay Day! And we hope that Bubba continues improving!!! We never ever forget voting for you! 🙂

  9. Moving is hard but can be very exciting as well. New smells, new streets, new experiences. Best of luck. Thinking of Bubba every day. Get better.

  10. Oooo! Stumble finds! Pawsome. I link Pinterest stuff all the time, and am learning about the Twitter universe.

  11. Whoo-wooo! Paws up for Rumpy.
Do hope the move gets in gear – hate the silence.
Blog publicity? So far it seems just constantly wandering blogs and leaving comments works the best – and network with other blogs (VERY time consuming, but works…find a kid who works for hamburgers?)
Write very current hot button posts with frequently used tags Google will pick up so that you show up on nonbloggers’ screens.
Always use adorable pictures ( not so hard for you) or cute pet videos on You Tube (narrated by Rumpy?)
Your contests are a good idea – as well as product reviews ( hits those google search terms again)
Promotion is very time consuming – that’s the cost.
We love Rumpy…..(so where’s the mugs and T-shirts)

  12. Purrs and hugs to Bubba! Good luck with the move too – hope the owner of the property speaks to you all soon so you can get things moving!

    Take care
    x

  13. Glad to hear Bubba is still improving. Wishing you all the very best in the landlord/moving situation. Hugs and nose kisses
