Oh Dog! DeDe here with a great beauty tip for you!

Today I share my biggest beauty secret ever! Don’t tell anyone now…. this is just between you and me!
Today’s tip is to believe in yourself!
As some of you know, I was living at the local trash dump when Jen found me. My situation wasn’t great, but I had confidence that my needs would be met, and I would be OK. And just look at me now! I’m living the good life as a world-renowned blogger!
Sometimes I get nervous, or downright afraid, but I have faith that I’ll do my best in every situation.
Sometimes I make mistakes. I learn from them and move on.
Did you know your body language tells others how you feel about yourself? When people believe in themselves, they stand tall, walk straight and look others in the eye.
If your words don’t match your body language, people tend to go with body language; talking a good game simply won’t cut it.
So take a few moments each morning, look in the mirror and tell yourself you believe in yourself. Then go out there and show the world you mean business!
.
Men are attracted to confidence more than boobs, faces, or asses. There’s nothing more sexy than a woman who knows what she wants and refuses to care what people think. -Unknown
You have achieved a lot Rumpy.
woo woo woo!!!!
Thanks for sharing this tip with us Rumpy! You are truly beautiful, inside and out. When I see how courageous you are , it gives me strength to face my own fears 🙂
There ya go! Fear can’t beat you unless you let it!
DeeDee you remind me of my cat Hazel. Her start wasn’t especially great so she is very cautious and tends to get scared and hide easily. However, she is very happy with 3 feline friends, more than enough food (although she hoards thinking bad days are ahead) and a nice bed to sleep on. She is definitely beautiful all around and so are you!
BOL! Way to go Hazel!
MOM and I agree 100%!
Blessings,
Goose
Wow, Goose! We were almost on the same wavelength today! -Love, DeDe

I’m sorry DeDe had such a sad past but good that’s all changed for the better now. Yes, we have to believe in ourselves first, who else is going to if we don’t? 😉
Dede’s coat looks a bit different, maybe it’s just the lighting in the pic. ?
yeah…. it was dark in the room. I’m still a natural blonde!
That’s great and very wise advice, DeDe! Thank you!
DeDe you are beautiful inside and out. As someone said, I can’t remember whp, it’s not the circumstances that define you, it’s what you do with them that counts.
You have indeed done a lot with what you had and have. Thanks Jen for seeing DeDe and saving her. What a special pup.
That’s EXCELLENT advice! I’m gonna do just that. I’m gonna belive in myself and tell the peeps I don’t need my harness anymore. That’s just what I’m gonna tell ’em.
Purrs,
Nissy
Absolutely completely and definitely (sitting taller!) c
This is so true Rumpy! Well done for reminding everyone. Bisous Bailey
very well said Rumpy!
Though you are completely right, I’m a bit disappointed, I thought the secret of beauty would be something like: “eat more goose poop.” 😉 (just kidding)
Well…… Rumpy might say that!
There’s a song about that! “Walk tall, walk straight, look the world right in the eye ….!” We agree 🙂
Very good advice! I read your post before this about the lion and dog – we lived in FL near an old animal park with small cages and poor conditions and I would not visit them. Thankfully they have added on and upgraded the park but so many of these old ones still cage wild animals in such small enclosures. Good points in this article too.
I’m glad that one changed… .I wish others would as well. I don’t believe exotics should be kept confined, but the animals that have been confined cannot be freed, and there’s really nowhere to free them, so at least give them confinement in an area that allows them physical and mental stimulation.
That is great advice
Urban hounds
Are we talking about anipals or humans here? I’m confident and everyone knows it. The peeps—not so much. heh heh
Great message, Dede. We are also so glad that Jen was able to rescue from that trash.

DeDe with your words and your smile your gonna change my life
DeDe, you are so very wise! You are absolutely correct!
We are doing flat cats, but you are welcome to join us in making a flat dog. Our mom forgot to mention this would work for any flat critter!
De De – you and Jen are amazing!! It makes me so sad to think of you living at the local trash dump – thank goodness for Jen and other incredibly compassionate people like her! We love you De De (and all your house mates!). All the very best to you all!
You have a good heart, that’s how it’s possible 🙂
I love this tip De De… you just made my day :)Merci! mmmwahhh
Read your quote.. LOL. I just had to say… No wonder they prefer b*tc*es.
Hi Dede. You are one lucky doggy. I am glad you’ve turned to a life of animal advocacy.
Life, overall, is much happier when you have confidence in yourself and care less about what others think. Thanks DeDe, for the reminder. 🙂
I was lucky to have a Mom that believed in me and taught me to believe in myself!
Very fortunate indeed! I wish all could be so lucky.
Mom spent 25 years as an executive coach among other things like individual and organizational change management….you are spot on DeDe…believe in yourself at each day’s start…that can move mountains
BOL!!!!! -Love, DeDe
Dee Dee! What great tips! Me KNOWS me is the most beauteous cat in the world and it shows!
Kisses

Excellent advice, DeDe. I’m delighted you landed in a loving, secure place.
I do believe men are attracted to confidence, yes. At first instance it is always looks, but there is so so much more… and they do realise.
Love this post 🙂
