Well nothing like working on a post for naught.

Oh well.
Anyway, here’s a poem I wrote yesterday.
Hope it will do for today.
.
.
There was a dog left home alone
With not even so much as a bone
He checked all around
For a treat to scarf down
But was heartbroken when he found none.
.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Bkess you Rumpy….:)
Hugs Fozziemum xx
*bless….
Oh Rumpy you are cute! I hate it when you can’t find a chew too! I like tripe stick best. But I am only allowed them on occasion, because my person say the SMELL.
Rumpy, you write well – for a Husky. Signed, Jack. (Lab-Chow)
Oh yeah? Think you can do better? Post on dawg!
Here’s Jack’s July 4th plea.

Aw Rumpy…..some days are full of treats and others we just have to try and stay cool! As for MJ it was sweet of you to post about her and HOPEFULLY the rumor I heard was true….if not, keep that post handy buddy!!!
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
Oh no. That wasted my human’s time for nothing? I won’t be doing that again.
Oh that’s true dog-poetry, Rumpy. I hope you will get a truckload of treats – you are an artist!
Oh Rumpy…I wish I could send lots of bones immediately….
Hugs hugs Kevin xxx
May tomorrow be a better day. Best wishes to you. 🙂
Nice DOGgerel!
Snorts – stick with me buddy – I’ll show you how to get into the fridge 🙂 XOXO – Bacon
You got skills!
Thank you so much Rumpy for the post about Mary. It was already down but I saw you did one. We are still awaiting the Vet care clinic’s approval of the home we found for her. They have the phone number but so far no word. Keep that post. If they don’t like the farm environment she will go to, Mary will need to continue her search. Hope you find another bone paw pats, Savannah
I don’t think so Savannah. I will save that for those of you who are in the know. It’s frustrating to work in a post only to find out its wasted effort.
I posted about Mary as soon as I knew she had a willing adopter. The vet clinic has to approve it and so far they are dragging their feet. Sorry you feel you wasted time, I know you are very busy. And Mary still does not have a confirmed home so that post would still have been helpful should they not let her go as it is a place where she would be indoor and outdoor
Anyone who might have been interested would not have pursued it once they read all the comments about the cat having a potential home. It would not be cool to do that to people who would possibly take her in.
So I “should” have not said a word, right? My mistake, guess I have ruined her chances now. I certainly won’t try to help again as I clearly don’t know how. Again, sorry you wasted your time. If you have other advice for me, my email is lcrodgers at sbcglobal dot net
And I’m sorry you are taking this personally. This isn’t about you. Animal adoption is an emotional experience and people will perceive me as callous to post a plea for a home for Mary, get them all excited, then tell them never mind. And yes, my time is limited and I feel it is valuable.
Thank you for your input
You deserve a big handful of treats for that poem!!
The Florida Furkids
Poor baby.
Wow! That was something you should have saved for a Monday…so sad!
Haha that’s cute!
Here’s a treat, Rumpy! 🙂
Rumpy that was a wonderful poem! But I am sad you were left alone without a bone! Woooooowooooooo, Ku
Aw poor you Rumpy. We know how you feel though, we’re left home alone a lot too. And that was a really great poem – we wish we could write like that!

xxxxxxx
who knew there was poesie in those paws? Very well done, Rumpy! 3 tail thumps!! 🙂
a cool dog and a cool ditty!
Rumpy, how can they leave you without leaving a treat or two behind?!? So not fair.
Poor Rumpy! 🙂
Oh Rumpy, you are the poet laureate of sad poems!!!
Awww, somebody throw this doggy a bone, will ya?
Awww poor Rumpy …hugs xx
What a wonderful poem! I think you deserve a big juicy bone for that one!
Terrible the way we starve our dogs. Beating, starving them, making them go OUTSIDE in the RAIN. I’ve noticed Nan is beginning to waddle a bit. She still says she’s starving.
Very cute. I saw the poem yesterday.
Then Jen saw Rumpy’s dire plight–
All alone with no treat in his sight.
So she dropped him a carrot,
That has healthy merit;
Poor Rumpy just ran from the fright.
