Beauty From the Inside Out!

Hello, and welcome to Sunday! I’m DeDe, and each week I share beauty tips to make you look and feel your best.

Beauty is an inside job!
Beauty is an inside job!

Today is a day where I have to put my money where my mouth is.

I am hurting and my human typist is tired. And truth be told, a bit grumpy!

Which brings me to this week’s beauty tip- take care of your body’s needs.

When it’s time to rest, you need to rest.

We are going to do just that.

So take a nap if you need it, and get plenty of sleep each night.

And never leave home without this essential beauty product- a smile!ย

  1. Resting is very under rated..have a great rest guys and a big snuggle..we have a snugglefest next to the fire tonight..Forrest ,Doc,Marbles,Cleo,Pickles, and Dinnermintz..the only ones missing are the sheepies ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. “My human typist”… I love it! i tend to disagree with the reply that sleep is over-rated. STRONGLY disagree, in fact. Years ago, my dad told me that a person’s best-quality sleep is the sleep a person gets before mid-night… Now, my dad happens to think his law degree qualifies him to be a doctor, a pharmacist, a lawn-care specialist, a roofer and, apparently, a sleep therapist… But, I can’t deny that the earlier I go to bed, the better I feel the next day. (Though, getting to bed before midnight is quite a challenge!) P.S. I’m sorry to hear that you’re feeling a little grumpy this morning… I was wondering if there was anything I could do to help with your blog about my law firm (which I am getting increasingly-excited about, especially in light of the Florida supreme court’s recent ruling revamping all of the rules that govern lawyer advertising and marketing – so, any exposure I can get from 3rd parties is AMAZINGLY helpful and most appreciated.) so, please let me know if there’s anything I can do… And happy Sunday!

  3. That is very true, DeDe! We believe that if our bodies need to rest, we should do so, too! Or we will get sick easily and will feel stress……
Please take good rests, and have a lovely weekend, DeDe and Jen!!!

  4. Excellent advice DeDe ! I never hesitate to take a nap at any time of the day. In fact I think my Mom appreciates me taking naps because then she doesn’t have to wonder where I am or what I’m doing. Hee Hee.

    Kitty Hugs and Happy Sunday!

  5. Very wise pieces of advice, DeDe! I always forget to drink enough – but I try to work on this issue and train myself!
Time for relaxing and sleep are very-very important. It is often the case that you can solve problems easily next morning, after a good sleep that seemed to be unsolvable on the previous day!

  6. Very good advice! Us piggies rest a lot – we sleep for most of the night and most of the day while our hoomans are out. We’re only really awake in the mornings and the evening.
    Piggy kisses,
