It’s Friday! So Why Am I Sad?

Hello! Welcome to friday!

Jen came home yesterday to this.

Jen? Why are you late? And you smell funny!
Jen? Why are you late? And you smell funny!

Was she upset? Did she care? NO! She didn’t even stay! The phone rang and she ran out the door again! *sigh* Living with that woman sure ain’t easy.

I wrote a short guest peace for Peace, Love and Whiskers about animal welfare recently, and it was posted yesterday. Please go check it out.

And please leave a comment about what you think animal welfare is.

  1. Awwww. Whee feel for you. Sometimes our hoomans are dashing around and not listening to us enough! It’s just not good enough!

  2. Awww, Rumpy, honey. She’ll be back. It ain’t easy being Human. We have all kinds of stuff going on. It’s the downside to being able to open doors and all the other magic things we can do. But in the end, we always come back home to you guys. Believe me, Jack feels the same way – but think how extra happy you’ll be when she gets home! That’s what makes the waiting worthwhile.

    1. We totally understand. We stay home while Momma and Dad go out for a while. But they come home and give us lots of lovins’ and kisses and stuff. Sometimes even cookies. Momma makes yummy peanut butter cookies..so it is worth the wait. Have a great weekend.

  3. Aww such a precious face! Daisy understands, Rumpy. She gives us the same kind of face when we go out too. We wish we could take you pups with us everywhere we go!

  4. It’s really only bad when the big box they call luggage is out. Then that’s really bad and it takes a long time until they come back! Just make her feel guilty and I’m sure you’ll get a cookie out of it.

  5. I’m sure Jen had something really, really important to do and she didn’t mean to slight you in the attention department. I am sure she will make it up to you – and maybe even make you cookies!

  6. You sweet sweet thing you. That is the most pitiful looking face I’ve ever seen! That face just calls for extra loving and snuggles. I think you should definitely give it to Jen again and see what happens next time my friend. XOXO – Bacon
P.S. – I’m off to practice that look for my mommy 🙂

  7. I think that if you love animals, animal welfare is the first priority we have to think….however some people care about their own pets but don’t care about homeless animals….
I agree that you made a good point on the guest post, Rumpy. We should unite together to achieve what we think the best for animals.

  8. Sorry to hear you were left on your ownsome Rumpy but I am sure Jen was needed somewhere more urgent…. I just tried to go to the post but my laptop froze up on the link, And had to do a close down to come back here.. But will try again…
Enjoy your weekend, where I am sure Jen will make more of a fuss of you xox

  9. Awww… you just reminded me of what my 3 canine companions are thinking as they watch me dash out the door for work each morning. I will give them extra love tonight and this weekend! Hope you get some extra love too! Thanks for the reminder!
