Oh Dog! DeDe here with another tip to make you look and feel your best!
This week’s tip: Ask for support when you need it.

Last night as we were turning in for the night, strong storms moved through the area. I was afraid, so I lay beside the side of the bed Jen was on. She comforted me by petting my head, and I felt better.
Some humans are reluctant to ask for help when they need it. I know, I live with one.
But when we ask others for help and support, we endear ourselves to them. That is an attractive quality.
Now don’t confuse that with people who use others. Using others is absolutely not attractive.
The next time you need some help with a task at work, or perhaps a ride to the station, go ahead and ask someone for help. You never know the beauty that will be created by the bonds of support.

And remember to never leave home without this essential beauty product- a smile!
Sounds like good advice to me,xx Speedy
Gorgeous!
Hi DeDe! *waving* my mom says that when she needs some help, she often hesitates to ask someone because she thinks it might disturb them……but like you said asking others for help and suppor might be an attractive quality.
I’ll let her try when she needs some help next time! Have a good Sunday, DeDe! π
BOL! You keep reminding her Kevin!
Thanks for this fabulous advice, dear DeDe. I hope you can make the world a little bit better :o)
Grrrrrreat advice DeDe
We like it when people ask us for help. It makes it easier for us to ask if we ever need anything. True friends are awesome that way. π
Exactly! And Dale Carnegie said in his book the best way to develop a relationship with someone is to ask for something.
Excellent advice!
DeDe, I’m just like Jen. First, I’m afraid of being rejected. Second, I’m afraid of being rejected, and third, I always think I could go it alone.
i might just being inspired to take your advice.
I will have to do you like I do Jen and remind you that the worst that could happen is they say no, then you’re right back where you started from, right? No loss there.
I am learning how to ask Mom and Dad when I need them to touch me so I feel loved and safe…it is a big deal that I am starting to do this more and more. Every time I approach Mom at her desk, she stops whatever she is doing to see what I need. I don’t ask often…but because she started responding right away…I am learning it is OK to ask…thank DeDe for such pawsome advice
Great advice, as usual, D. Asking for help can be difficult, but it feels good and makes the helper feel good, too!!
Love and licks,
Cupcake
DeDe, that is some excellent advice.
Yep! Don’t be afraid of rejection! I keep telling the human that when I show her the back of disrespect!!
Very good advice!

Excellent advice and a subject I struggle with..i have always found it hard to ask for help but I think I am getting better at it π Have a great day sweet DeDe π hugs Fozziemum xx
Always ask for help if you need it! Who wouldn’t want to help you DeDe… you are a cutie!!!
Thanks Collies!
This is great advice, DeDe!! When we don’t ask for help, it just adds frustration to our lives and that can easily show in one’s face and demeanor…not an attractive quality!
I am a Rumpydog Wisdom fan!
YAY! DeDe will be thrilled!
