This is my 800th post!

What an accomplishment. So why am I not jumping for joy?

What an accomplishment! I have stuck with this blogging stuff long enough to publish 800 posts!

So what amazing thing could I write about to celebrate the occasion?

*scratches head*

How about hurricane safety? Disaster preparedness? Nah……. that’s been done.

How about winter preparedness for those of us in the northern hemisphere or summer safety tips for those of you below the equator?

BORING!!!! *yawn*

Oh Dog! No special blog post? What’s a dog to do?

Oh man…… if it’s THIS hard to write about my 800th blogpostaversary, imagine what it’s gonna be like writing a blog post on my Gotcha! Day, and that’s……….

OH MY DOG! My Gotcha Day is only 15 days away!!!  ACK!!!!!!!

  8. Congratulations. 800! You must spend a lot of time writing and less time sleeping or eating cookies. i haven’t gotten 100 and have trouble thinking of topics. Can’t wait to read 801.

    1. Since I don’t know when I was born, instead of a birthday we celebrate the day I came to what us now my forever home. It’s the day Jen Got Me!

      1. Oh! Got it! We just calculated an approximation based on Jack’s age, and what we learned of his history via the Internet, and assigned him a birthday that’s 1 day after mine, and one day before his namesake – my brother in law. 🙂

I am only at 530 posts right now, but that seems like quite a bit, right? By the way, how many years has it taken you to hit 800 posts? Just curious!
