Oh Dog! DeDe here with this week’s beauty tip. My job is to help you look and feel your best!
This week’s tip: Take it easy on yourself!
Don Williams recorded a song with that title, part of which went like this:
There’s two hundred people pushin’ up daisies
In the graveyard out back of the old Baptist church
There were some schemers. some sinners and dreamers
and not one died wishin’ they spent more time at work
I’m not really sure who set up this work system for humans, where you spend more time making money than you do enjoying life. I know you have to work. But is there really any job that’s more important than your well-being?
Life was meant to be lived. To be enjoyed. It was not meant to be spent working yourself silly so someone else can profit from your labor.
People who enjoy life tend to be happier, healthier, and more attractive. Is that you?
If you’ve gotten off track, what better time to start enjoying life than today. After all, you got an extra hour with the end of Daylight Savings Time!
So get out there and give yourself some fun! And don’t forget to leave home without this essential beauty item- a smile!

Dogpaddling Through Life 
Very true! So many humans just work and work and have no fun and that is not a good life.
That is so boring!!!!! They should watch us. We don’t work and look how good we got it!
A person once told me that he worked to live, rather than living to work. Sage advice.

This is very impawtent. Our little hoomans work hard all day at school and then come home so whee can give them some fun times. Whee teach the hoomans to live efurry day as it comes and love efurrything!
If they take it easy, slow down and look around they will see that the world is a pretty incredible place all things considered. Even if our world consists of the living room, our hutches, the garden and (reluctantly!) the vet!

Hey, DeDe – Jack here. I can think of one group of Humans that works harder and longer than any other, and does it for NO MONEY. Bloggers. BTW, I’ll talk to BitcoDavid and see if we can’t come up with a piece for “Blog4Peace” day. What a tail waggin’ great idea! Here’s a little something BD wanted me to share with you…
“My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day.
He has his food prepared for him.
His meals are provided at no cost to him.
He visits the Dr. once a year for his checkup and again during the year, if any medical needs arise.
For this he pays nothing, and nothing is required of him.
He lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than he needs, but he is not required to do any upkeep.
If he makes a mess, someone else cleans it up.
He has his choice of luxurious places to sleep.
He receives these accommodations absolutely free.
He is living like a king and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever.
All of his costs are picked up by others who earn a living.

Seriously, though, Jen does not see our blogging as work. She says this is the one place where she gets to be who and what she is.
I never said there weren’t rewards, I merely said that we are the grist that keeps the Internet chugging along – and its sole independent, non-corporate voice. And most of us do it for free. 🙂

I always tell my boss “I work to live…I don’t live to work!” When he really pisses me off, I take out my union card, flash it in his face then say “This card says LOCAL not express!”

These last few months, mom has been pretty busy and can’t enjoy her life….she knows that she has to make some time for herself, but hardly finds any…..this life makes her crazy…so she has been looking for the solution….

I’m with you DeDe. Nothing is better than spending time relaxing with the ones we love. Work is okay too. But it’s not the only thing.
