And eventually the day comes when you realize that this is the new normal, so you’d better get used to it and move on.
I’ve been offered a job in North Central Florida, so I’ll be nearby Jacksonville, Gainesville and Tallahassee. I’ve got to find us yet another place to live and then get packing.

By the way, this is my 900th blog post. What an accomplishment. I’ve been blogging longer than most of my relationships have lasted. LOL
Well, there are still mouths to feed and litter boxes to scoop, so best get on with it.

Although it will be a hassle to move, it may be nice to start fresh and leave the place with the sad memory behind.

Not another move! Ah well, at least you can console yourself with the fact that each time you move makes you more of an expert on HOW to move. I’m sure you wouldn’t be doing this if the new job weren’t worth it, so big congrats on that.
Oreo, Ling Ling and Tilly Tot wish Rumpydog and the cats an easy move. Their advice is, don’t sweat it. It’s soon over and then you have the fun of exploring the new place. And they send lots of nose nuzzling and rump smelling.
My advice is determination, lots of friends to help, a pluritude of cardboard boxes, a stout marking pen, and a bracing drink to help you relax at the end of it (and pizza…did we mention pizza?)
Yes, we all need to move forward, through whatever pain or loss we leave behind. We wish you all the very best in your move, and in doling out treats!

In terms of moving, you must be an expert on that having just moved a few months ago. You get to purge each time you pack. When I was thinking about moving and beginning to purge, the questions I asked myself was, Do I want to pay for the mover for moving it. If the answer was, “No”, i purged it.
