Best News I Heard All Week

The Best News I Heard All Week!

Oh Dog! Happy Oscars Sunday!

Treats? Don't mind if I do!

Really? We’re rooting for the losers tonight?

And speaking of the Oscars, some shelter animals are gonna be mighty happy, thanks to some caring Oscar losers.

That’s right! Those that don’t win Best Actor, Best Actress, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, and Best Director are given a bag of swag, and this year’s consolation prize includes this:

The prize is 2000 pounds of Halo’s Stew, delivered to a designated 501(c)3 organization in good standing. How awesome is that!

See, there really are no losers on Oscars night! woo woo!

About Jen and the Furries

Hello and welcome. I’m a 50 something woman who’s probably awake when she should be sleeping. Oh, and there are animals, because who doesn’t have pets?

  9. You have to love celebrities like Ellen and Rachel Ray who do a lot for animal welfare. Rumpy, you are so photogenic! Either you are the most gorgeous dog around or Jen can take a great picture. I always want to hug you.

  11. Who wants a golden statue? Foods are a much better prize- especially for hungry pets at needy places. Foods! Yum! The best news I heard all week.
