Review: Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Treats

Recently I was contacted by the Natural Balance Marketing Team and asked if I’d review their new line of treats.

Well of COURSE I said yes!

A treat review? I’m all for THAT!

So a couple weeks later, I got this in the mail.

Yummy treats AND good for ya stuff too!

The Limited Ingredient Treats are soft, grain free chewy treats. The first ingredient listed is meat, and the binder is sweet potatoes or potatoes.

Note the Mini-Rewards are NOT grain free, but they are free of wheat and corn. The binder used for this treat is brown rice flour.

The jerky can easily be cut or torn to a smaller size.

The salmon jerky includes antioxidants and vitamins to support immunity. The Jumpin’ Stix and Chicken Jerky include glucosamine and chondroitin to keep those joints healthy.

In addition, there are no artificial flavors or colors added. YAY!

In fact, the only thing Jen saw on the label that concerned her was the salt and sugar added. Since dog treats aren’t labeled the same way as human food, it’s hard to know just how much of each is added. But hey, that’s in every treat. And these have lots of other good stuff inside!

Glucosamine and chondroitin- cuz us older dogs have to watch our hips! woo woo!

All in all, these treats are a great choice for your dog, especially if your dog requires a grain-free diet.

So give ’em a try!

  1. Back, Molly, back. Oh, sorry, Molly was drooling over the treats. Appreciate the review – so many choices out there and we’ve gotten wary (and happy with Molly’s current weight – but you neeeeed treats sometimes)
These look good. One question: do you know where these are made? Imported? Thanks Rumpy!

  2. We use Natural Balance fry cat food here (along with other wet food) and love it. I’m currently using the lower calorie variety for the older cats and they seem to like it. They don’t like “diet” cat food usually.

  3. Wow! They look delicious and so healthy for dogs! I used to like sweet potato jerky but never saw salmon one, that also look nice! That’s very true that when dogs get older and older, we have problems on our knee and joint, so it’s good to care for it in advance! 🙂

  4. Wow! Look at all those treats. Nice review. We may just have to check those out. Hugs and nose kisses
