Spring Naturals #BestOfBreeds Campaign! HINT: There’s a Giveaway!

If you follow me on Twitter, you may have noticed the tweets by Spring Naturals that mention me. It’s a part of their #BestofBreeds campaign. Each month they profile a different breed of dog, and this month is the Alaskan Malamute!

One important tip about us Malamutes is that we LOVE treats!

They tweet interesting facts about the breed and promote adoption. There are LOTS of Alaskan Malamutes in rescues around the country AND around the world that are just waiting for you to bring them into your home and give them the good life.

Oh, so you want to know more about Spring Naturals! It’s a quality pet food brand brought to you Performance Pet Products, a subsidiary ofAmerican Foods Group. Their dog and cat foods contain ingredients sourced in the US. These are their new grain-free treats.

These grain-free treats are 95% meat! Now what dog wouldn’t love THAT!

I’m betting you want to know, do I like ’em? DO I? They are so good Jen could NOT get a photo of me and the treat together. Perhaps that means more practicing….. with THESE TREATS! Yum!

Can I have another?

Can I have another?

If YOU want to try Spring Naturals Grain-Free treats, you’re in luck, because I have FIVE- count ’em- FIVE to give away!

All you have to do is:

  1. hail from the US (sorry),
  2. comment below about what makes YOUR breed (or breeds, or being a mixed breed) great, and
  3. make sure you comment using a working email address that you check regularly.

I’ll draw five winners at random and email you to let you know if you’re the winner. Winners will also be posted on my Facebook page.

Contest will remain open until end of day Tuesday.

So….. what are you waiting for? Tell me about YOUR breed!

  1. Those treats sound yummy! Our breed is golden retriever and mom thinks we’re the best because we are kind, loving yet very goofy!!

  2. Labs are loyal and loving! It is not a home without a big Black Lab following me around.

  3. American Cocker Spaniels are clearly the best breed! From their dark brown eyes, floppy ears, and oversized paws they almost resemble a stuffed animal. They are soft-mouthed, playful, and while they do love cuddling and naps, they are more than ready to play all day long as well.

  4. Bella is a black lab/pittie mix. She is the smartest dog I’ve ever had! She is a perfect mix of lab and pit 🙂 Loves her tennis balls, and loves to snuggle!

  5. Well, Jack’s a Lab/Chow. He has screwed up genetics, wasn’t properly weened, and had an absolutely horrible puppyhood. He came to us with a lot of issues, but he tries harder than any dog I’ve ever had. If I were to choose his one stand-out feature, It would be that he’s the first dog I’ve ever seen, who can see and understand mirrors. When we first got him, he would stand in front of the mirror and growl at that other dog. He soon figured out that there was no other dog, and now he watches us in the mirror, when we’re not facing him. I know he’s watching in the mirror, because he interacts as though he can see our faces.

  6. Those treats look and sound yummy! Plus I’ve never met a treat I didn’t like. I am part Jack Russell which makes me a little crazy and part something else which makes me a little calm. Does that sound as perfect to you as it does to me?

    Love and licks,

  7. Hey Rumpy! Mac is a black lab. I love that he’s so smart and learns fast. And he’s a great snuggle buddy. I trained him to help me when I fall or drop things. And he loves his balls and treats!

  9. Was it difficult getting you to pose with the treats because you kept eating them, Rumpy? 🙂 My Maya’s breed is a great breed because she loves everyone and has such a zest for life. She even loves the vet! My Pierson’s breed is a great breed because he is so smart, loyal, and attentive.

  10. We have not heard of this brand before, but they sure do make yummy sounding treats. We are all Siberian Huskies and Mom says we are a great breed because we make her and Dad very happy and are loving, fun, friendly, and just teeny bit mischievous:)

  12. I’m a mutt and mutts are the best because we’re all mixed up. Is that a good thing? I’m a little mixed up on this.

  13. Wow! *drools* this brand sounds very nice! Besides, they have cat’s food, too! *wispers* because I’m in OTRB, I can’t have their treats….what a shame…but our kitties can! I think that what this company does like introducing about different breeds to promote their adoption is wonderful! I’m jealous of US readers because they have a lucky chance to win this treats! 🙂

  14. I’ve got chihuahuas and a lab. The little ones are great because they’re so loving and always want to be with their owner. The lab is awesome because he’s got such a sweet, easy going temperament.

  21. I’m so lucky to have a schnauzer mix and a yorkie. So my schnauzer is the best because he is so loving and active even at 11 and my yorkie is best because she runs like a rabbit and even at 13 is learning new things everyday. They are both best because they love us so much. New treats are best too.
