NaNoWriMo With a Twist of Lemon

Have you noticed anything different about me? Uh, no, I did NOT change my hairstyle.

We are NOT amused! Now lie still until I’ve finished my nap.

I’ve been writing every day! YAY!

In honor of National Novel Writing Month, I decided I would, in true American style, steal the event and reshape it to meet my deepest desires.

And that desire is to get my blog back on track.

Uh, tell me a story? Every day please?

Uh, tell me a story? Every day please?

My goal for this month is to publish a blog post every day. Some will be detailed and require a great deal of effort on my part. Others, like this one, won’t.

I’m also committed to being more of a social animal, so follow me on Twitter @rumpydog and you can keep up with the latest in animal welfare news, bad poetry written by dogs, and cute pictures. And, who knows, I might even follow you back, and maybe one night we can have a serious discussion in 140 characters or less about the relevance of dog poop in haiku.

Or perhaps we can discuss the relevance of dinosaurs in the story of the Nativity.

Or perhaps we can discuss how dinosaurs fit into the story of the Nativity.

About Jen and the Furries

Hello and welcome. I’m a 50 something woman who’s probably awake when she should be sleeping. Oh, and there are animals, because who doesn’t have pets?

  1. Yay for any kind of NaNo… Any way to make it work is a good way to make it work. Good luck! I love bad dog poetry!

  2. Dinosaurs go everywhere. My kids add the Abominable Snowman to ours every year. This is better than the oversized teddy bear. Congrats on writing every day.
