Sunday night he ate his supper and seemed fine.
Monday morning I found him in distress and struggling to breathe. I loaded him up to go to the vet but he died before we got there.
Honestly, I’m in shock about it all so I don’t know what to say.

Jen, I’m very so sorry about your loss….I’m in shock, too….I remember clearly how you and Malachi met and started your life together…..why you named him as Malachi,too…..Malachi was so skinny when I saw his first picture…because he was abused by someone…..you helped him and his life had completely changed…with lovely fur brothers….I was so happy whenever I saw him being so well on your blog…..I’m sure that he had a wonderful cat life in your family….I still can’t believe that he went to OTRB though….please rest in peace, dear Malachi….angel kevin,DeDe and Sage are waiting for you.

I know you must be in so much pain over losing Malachi. I’m sorry for your loss. But I am so glad he had such a happy, loving home with furry companions the last few years of his life.

Again, I’m very sorry for your loss Jen. I understand that shocked feeling; after several weeks I’m still trying to come to terms with my loss – I think when we love a being it is hard to fathom that they are suddenly gone.
We are so sorry for your loss. We know the shock after loosing a dear pet, the sorrow never disappers, but that dear pet lives forever in our memories and hearts. There they all are by the Rainbow Bridge, there is always summer, flowers and butterflies. All our friends are there healthy playing with each others and some day we will be there with our loved ones.
