Wow, has it actually been a month since my last post? Apparently so.
We are all OK. How are you doing?
Monday night I watched the local station online during the severe weather. Little Girl was fascinated with the radar and watched as well. We had hail here. About 20 miles away there was tornado damage.
Hissy Fit Jones is what he is. This particular morning he was lying on the bed keeping me company as I dressed for work. Right as I snapped the photo something caught his eye.
On days I work at home, the cats hang out in the office with me. Here’s Hissy and Yella chilling in their office chair doing what most bosses do.
Graybie Baby likes to nap on top of me. Isn’t he sweet?
Here’s hoping you have a great weekend, and that you spent at least part of it supporting our teens who are marching for their lives.
These teens are amazing! Historically, change comes from the young. Glad you all are well.
They have given me so much hope, especially since they’ve reached out to other teens from different communities.
Glad that the cats are all good!
They are all doing well. We’ve been playing with the magic crinkly wand this afternoon and had supper and now they’re all napping.
God bless you all as a family, and God bless the young people of America .xxc💜💜
They have given many of us hope that there will one day be an end to this insanity.
Fingers crossed but I for one am not holding my breath. ….
Loving the kitty photos!!!!! In reference to the March, here is what I posted on my facebook status a few hours ago: “Words can’t convey how moved and impressed I am with the young people I am seeing at the March For Our Lives rally in Washington (and various cities around the world). The depth of their caring, how beautifully they are articulating their desire to change the world (in a peaceful manner), has me in tears. The love, support and compassion they are showing to each other, (no matter their skin color, sexual orientation, etc.) is a sign of hope for this screwed up world. Now if only someone will listen and stop the gun violence in the schools and on our streets. God knows it won’t be the useless lump in the White House, he is too busy golfing.”
I am also proud of them for daring to do what other generations could not or would not. It’s been a long time coming and I’m glad the tide has finally begun to turn.
Good to have you back. Hi from our gang! the snow is melting and the world is mud. Spring will be delayed by blizzards this year.
But eventually it will come. Hang in there!
Nice to see all your adorable faces 🙂
Thank you!
Nice to see everyone doing well. As for the young activists–isn’t it great watching our future leaders in action?
They are calling us on our crap. From the mouths of babes…
The teens were great. Their speeches really right on. Love the photos specially Hissy & Yellow.
Yella wasn’t happy about Hissy sharing his chair, but Hissy does not know the meaning of the word No.
with the teens via cspan most of the day!!!!!
Awesome! I watched some of the speeches online. They have touched me deeply. I am so proud of this generation of activists.
Your absence has been missed. Hope the March is Washington sees some results. Cheers,H
You and me both. I have more hope for change than I have in a long time.
