It’s very cold outside. This morning I snapped these three photos and decided to write about them. With apologies to Mother Goose, I present the following:

My three black kittens, when asked ‘bout their mittens, gave this long diatribe: Now Jen, my dear, see here, see here, we don’t care about mittens. We don’t need mittens. We are indoor kittens and are not going outside. Meow! Meow! Meow! Meow! It’s too cold to be outside.

Twinkle, twinkle little star,
I’m more beautiful than you are.
You hang in the cold, dark sky.
I’m a cozy glamour guy.
Twinkle, twinkle if you wish,
but it’s me they wanna squish.

Wash, wash, wash my butt, in the cozy warmth. First a big poop, then a rug scoot, now I lick the port.
Fun poems Jen.
